What is Guess the Baby and how does it work?

Guess The Baby is a digital baby pool and baby prediction game where friends and family make fun guesses about your baby—like due date, weight, hair, eye color, and first outfit. You create an event, choose your questions, and invite guests to join from their phones. Once the baby arrives, you “call” the answers and the app automatically scores everything and announces the winner.

Do participants have to pay to join an event?

No — participants always join completely free. The only limitation is the 3-person demo. Once you unlock Full Access, unlimited guests can join your baby pool at no cost.

How much does Guess the Baby cost?

It’s free to create a small 3-person demo event. Unlocking Full Access costs $49.99 and includes:

Is there a limit to how many people can join my baby pool?

Only during the demo. Once you activate Full Access, your event has no participant limit. Invite your entire baby shower, coworkers, grandparents, friends from out of town—anyone you’d like.

Guests can join instantly using a link or QR code and follow the live leaderboard from anywhere.

How are points scored and how does the leaderboard work?

The leaderboard ranks participants by the percentage of questions they answer correctly. As you call each question, the app automatically tallies correct and incorrect guesses and updates the leaderboard in real time. When the final question is called or skipped, the leaderboard locks and the winner is revealed.

Once my event is published, can I edit it?

Yes. You can edit your event details, add or delete questions, and change answer choices before guests start guessing. Once a specific question has been answered by any participant, that question is locked so you can’t change it, but you can still add new questions that haven’t been answered yet.

Can I have someone else help manage the event?

Yes. Guess The Baby includes a co-organizer feature so you can share event management with your partner, a family member, or a friend. Co-organizers can help call questions, handle skips, and assist with running the baby pool.

How do I close out an event and announce the winner?

Once your baby arrives, simply “call” the correct answers for each question in the app. If a question doesn’t have a clear answer, you can skip it. After the final call or skip, the event closes automatically, results are tallied, and everyone sees the final leaderboard.

Are premium purchases in Guess the Baby refundable?

Premium purchases are treated as digital goods. Once Full Access is activated, all purchases are final and non-refundable. This ensures instant access to features like unlimited participants, unlimited questions, Split-the-Pot, co-organizers, and advanced scoring.
